about

The Cycle of Inner Work is a concept created by Sara Schley which inspired this podcast. The cycle is a a reinforcing process which Schley argues we must be aware of in order to survive in this ecological age. Each episode in this album follows a stage in the cycle (Reflection and Contemplation, Deeper Awareness and Connection to All Life, Creative Tension, and the Coherence of Action) and discusses how we can apply it to our own lives as we brave this new epoch coined, The Anthropocene. I hope you will join us as we dive into topics like, uncertainty around death, ecological death-care, ambient poetics, capitalistic self-consumption, and death activism.
Thank you so much for listening and please enjoy the journey.

Thank you to Adam One for letting us use their painting "Pisces | Beastmaster" for this podcast. Find more work from Adam One on Instagram @symprez or www.symprez.com
